Bronze Odonata-foil block on Fabriano paper edition 0f 100

a symmetrical design based on drawings of feathers, dragonfllies and tiger moths found in my garden and local area of South London.
I wanted the flash and shine of an insects wing, so the print is foil blocked in copper on to 100% cotton Fabriano paper.

This is a large foil blocked image at 40cmx40cm. The image has to be made into a hot metal plate that pushes the copper foil into the paper. The image is slightly debossed adding more texture. It is quite a process, but gives a wonderful lustre and richness to the final piece.
