Psyche- screen print edition 25

£165.00

All life and life's dramas are played out before me every day in the garden. Each event, animal, plant and their cycles have their own narrative. Butterflies have symbolised the embodiment of the soul or spirit in many cultures. Aristotle named the butterfly, Psyche. He saw the different stages of their existence as proof as being other worldly. We have all been fascinated by its transformative ability to change from one being to another. Red admirals symbolise hope and redemption, they are frequent visitors in late summer as they love to drink nectar from my ivy flowers.
This is a hand pulled screen print printed by me. The postage for this would be £9.99.
