Sylva- hand pulled screen print on heritage paper- edition of 35

£175.50 / On Sale

A celebration of some of my favourite native birds found in the British trees they live in. The name Sylva is derived from the Roman name for trees, woodland or forest. We start with a crested tit in the Caledonian forests of Scotland, A bull finch in a Rowan tree. We then have have a goldfinch in an oak and finally my London sparrow in the hawthorn tree in my garden. This work is based on a commission I have done for a new UK ocean liner called the 'The spirit of discovery'. You can find the original drawing in the ships library. The image size is 29 cm x 88 cm approx. Paper size is 42.5 x 105 cm
